Standalone Modules - Information

1. Business Restructure Module

Objective: To undertake a review of the structure and individual roles within your organisation.  Working with the view of maximising efficiency, harmony and profitability, but also ensuring building blocks are in place for growth.

Who’s it for: Business leaders who 1. Suspect their organisation is not running at maximum efficiency.  2. Are concerned that the company is not set up correctly for growth.  3. Are experiencing communication issues due to lack of clarity around responsibilities.

Here’s what we’ll cover: In Cambridge

  • Studying your existing organisation structure and recognising who needs to manage who and who needs to communicate with who.
  • If necessary, we’ll take a look at the overall responsibilities of each department.
  • Understand the role of each position and/or Department
  • Mapping future organisational structures based on your goals for the organisation.
  • Use Personality / Behavioural profiling to establish how team members may or may not be a fit for their current position.
  • Understanding Personality / Behavioural profiling as a tool when recruiting.
  • Establishing whether you have the “right people in the right seats?”

Depending on the size of your organisation and the extent of your existing systems, you should expect this module to take around 8 months to implement with fortnightly sessions.  But please do note that this is a guide, the actual time-frame will ultimately be dictated by yourself and your team.

You have the option to take this module a step further and continue by working on the management structure.  This will likely add an additional 5 months to the programme and would include the following:

  • What systems and processes need to be implemented to ensure proper management and communication.
  • Understanding the different types of meetings and how to run them effectively.
  • How to communicate your expectations to your team.
  • How you will measure and reward performance?
  • Bringing everything together resulting in an integrated management system.

2. Management Structure and Systems Module

Objective:  To implement a robust and integrated management system within your organisation that motivates the team and results in a more efficient and harmonious operation.

Who’s it for:  Business leaders who realise their management structure and communication is perhaps not what it should be, but don’t know quite where to turn.  This will likely be manifesting itself in limiting growth and/or internal conflict.

Management (or should I say lack of management!) is the number one cause of problems I see in businesses.  This tends to manifest itself as a feeling of poor communication and/or poor performance and frustration.  Very few organisations have a truly robust and integrated management system in place.  This results in stunted growth, confusion within the team (which can impact on retention), a lack of efficiency and stress.

Here’s what we’ll cover:

  • Studying your existing organisation structure and recognising who needs to manage who and who needs to communicate with who.
  • If necessary, we’ll take a look at the overall responsibilities of each department.
  • Establishing the responsibilities of each individual (including you!).
  • Asking what can be a difficult question, that is: “Do you have the right people in the right seats?”.  Many business leaders choose bury their heads in the sand rather than ask themselves this question.  But don’t kid yourself, the right people will transform your operation.
  • Using Personality / behavioural profiling to improve management and communication.
  • What systems and processes need to be implemented to ensure proper management and communication.
  • Understanding the different types of meetings and how to run them effectively.
  • How to communicate your expectations to your team.
  • How you will measure and reward performance?
  • Bringing everything together resulting in an integrated management system.

Depending on the size of your organisation and the extent of your existing systems, you should expect this module to take around 12 months to implement with fortnightly sessions.  But please do note that this is a guide, the actual time-frame will ultimately be dictated by yourself and your team.

3. Sales Process and Management Module

Objective: To create and manage a consistent sales process within your organisation that results in a regular stream of new business.

Who’s it for: Business leaders who will be employing or already employ sales people but feel they are not performing as they should.

Sales are the lifeblood of every business but unfortunately, most organisations do not have queues of clients beating down their door.  Therefore, they need to employ sales people and utilise a reliable and consistent sales process to generate and close leads.

However, the reality is that most organisations do not have this in place.  Yes, you may employ ‘sales’ people, but are they proactively seeking new business opportunities?  In my experience most are not and the truth is they rely on their existing clients to reorder.  This is not how you grow a business.

Therefore, in this module we will design your company sales process i.e. a step-by-step procedure that will identify opportunities, then attract and close leads.

Here’s what we’ll cover:

  • Building and communicating your USP.
  • Identifying your target market and segmentation.
  • Understanding where to find your ideal customers.
  • Utilising guarantees to increase sales.
  • Lead generation strategy.
  • Lead conversion strategy.
  • Product / Service pricing strategy.
  • Analysing and working your existing clients to maximise revenue and profitability.
  • Introducing sales targets and KPI’s.
  • Managing and rewarding the team.

Depending on the size of your organisation and the extent of your existing systems, you should expect this module to take around 10 months to implement with fortnightly sessions.  But please do note that this is a guide, the actual time-frame will ultimately be dictated by yourself and your team.
