Since the late 1990’s, I’ve helped business leaders around the globe improve and grow their organisations.
During this time, I’ve worked as a Business Consultant, Coach, Mentor and Management Consultant. But over the years, one thing has stood out to me: most of the issues I’ve worked on have had one primary cause. That is weak (or non-existent!) management.
Whilst I help clients overcome challenges covering all aspects of their business, I find myself working predominantly on implementing management processes and developing leadership, company culture, and communication. This is because I’ve realised that when you get this right, great things happen. Increased profitability and happier people are just the start; I’ve seen it time and time again.
Most of my clients run successful businesses. Yet they know they can improve and are motivated to do so. They may also have identified key goals for their operation. For example: increasing profitability, stepping back from day-to-day operations, or improving staff moral. So made a conscious decision to introduce a third-party perspective.

This has provided me with essential grounding as a Business Management Consultant and Coach. Which means I don’t rely on idealistic theory or set advice created by a franchise – I’ve actually been there and done it. And it is this experience that I draw on for my clients. Most Business Consultants and Coaches cannot say the same.

Good businesses need strong foundations, defined systems, and motivated teams. All three of these need strong leadership and management.
Inconsistent management and weak leadership leads to a disengaged team with little direction. This is likely to cause frustration and conflict leading to decreased profits and customer retention.
